The idea behind the logo always begins on paper, in quick, rough, sketch form. Getting loose ideas onto paper are an important part of the process. There are usually many ideas, all of which are constantly checked against the brief. As a result the majority end up being discarded for one reason or another. A sketched idea is only ever transferred to digital form to be presented to a client once the idea behind it is solid and meets the brief.
