Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh - We are nature; we are responsible

Founded in 1670, and with a rich history of scientific research, conservation and education, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh is one of the world's leading botanical institutions.

This exhibition brought together two powerful, partnership projects from the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26): Climate is Nature and Possible Dialogues. Focussing on COP27 and the UN Conference on Biodiversity (COP15), this exhibition explored the roles that nature-based solutions, collaboration and creativity might play in tackling the climate emergency.

I was tasked with creating the overarching visual identity to promote this exhibition. To represent the idea of 'we are nature', the creative solution was one that blended images of people with images of nature. I then designed both the printed and digital marketing materials, and finally, designed and artworked the exhibition graphics from concept stage to production install.
