AMEE Rebrand
Born in Europe over 50 years ago, AMEE has grown into a truly global organisation, with a community that spans continents and reaches across all areas of healthcare education. Their mission is to promote and inspire excellence, collaboration, and scholarship across the full continuum of Health Professions Education.
With a rich history and significant membership growth, AMEE recognised the need for a new brand direction. One that reflects the evolving landscape of healthcare education and positions them confidently for the future. We were delighted to be asked to design the new brand.
At the heart of the new identity is an upward-facing arrow, symbolising progress and forward momentum. It represents AMEE’s commitment to growth, continuous improvement, and driving positive change, while conveying optimism and a clear sense of direction. The arrow sits within a circle, echoing the shape of our planet and reinforcing AMEE’s global reach.
The new colour palette reflects AMEE’s ambition to be bold, modern, and confident. A deep purple conveys credibility and depth, while a vibrant teal introduces clarity, creativity, and a forward-looking spirit. Together, they create a distinctive identity within their sector, that feels both trustworthy and innovative.
Project deliverables included a new brand identity and guidelines, website design direction, social media design direction, promotional collateral, and membership materials.
